Product Information

The D5 pump motor is a powerful pump engine that has to be completed with a suitable housing. The electronically commutated spherical motor features extremely smooth operation and a long life.
A PWM signal can be used to control pump speed, alternatively the pump speed can be controlled by supply voltage. Additionally, the pump generates a speed signal for monitoring.

Important: The Aqua Computer D5 pump has an optimized PWM input and can be used with any Intel PWM standard compatible fan controller. This pump can be used with aquaero 5/6 PWM fan outputs without any heat dissipiation at the aquaero. All other currently available (as of January 2015) D5 pumps with PWM input use different hardware that will not work correctly with the PWM outputs of aquaero 5/6 devices. This pump is compatible with nearly any PWM fan controller on the market.

Technical details:

Dimensions (Diameter x Height): 66 x 57 mm (without cables)
Supply voltage: 8 - 24 V DC
Power consumption: 23 W (at 12 V)
Pressure at 12 V: 3,7 m water head
Power supply via 4 pin Molex device plug, PWM input and speed signal separately on 4 pin fan connector

Scope of delivery:
1x Aqua Computer D5 pump motor with PWM input and speed signal

Please note:
A suitable housing is required for operation, not included in delivery. The pump electronics are not water proof and must not get in contact with coolant, no submerged operation!

Frage von Danyal Ahmed C. vom 09. September 2016
what is ( 2. using adapter cable article number 52124 and connecting the pump to a fan control) this? can you just put the link to that cable in the answer please.
Antwort von Administrator vom 09. September 2016
Adapter cable for connecting a Laing DDC pump to the power output of poweradjust USB or via aquaero powerbooster optimized aquaero
Frage von Guest #267043 vom 01. January 2017
Does this D5 pump follow PWM specification and can be fully controlled be the aquaero 6 fan controller?
Antwort von Administrator vom 02. February 2017
There are two official PWM specifications wich are not really compatible to each other. But Aqua Computer is always checking the compatiblity of their own products. So, don`t worry, the pump will works over PWM with your Aquaero.
Frage von Derek B. vom 02. February 2018
I wanted to purchase 2 of these pumps for a dual loop set-up. I already own an aquareo 6 but all 4 fan headers are being used. Is there anyway to hook these up to the aquaero 6 without using the 4 fan headers so I can control the pumps individually. I was looking at the powerjust modules put they have no pwm output. Keep in mind I really do not want to use any motherboard headers.
Antwort von Administrator vom 02. February 2018
The Aquaero 6 has two separate 4-Pin PWM pump connectors next to the four 4-Pin PWM fan headers. .

Frage von Dennis B. vom 08. August 2016
June 2019
What is the RPM range that this pump should be run at? I have it connected to an Aquaero 5 on the PWM fan connector and it reports about 4800RPM at 100% and is *really* loud. If I go down to 8V it also whines and is still loud at about 4000 reported RPM in aquasuite.
