Battery act

In context with the distribution and retail of batteries and accumulator batteries or with the sale of appliances containing batteries or accumulator batteries, we are obliged to point out the following according to the battery act: Batteries must not be disposed of in the household garbage. As the consumer you are obliged by the law to return your used Batteries. You may return the Batteries at the retail store you purchased them at or any battery collection station nearby, e.g. communal collection stations, at no charge. You may also send the batteries back to us via mail. Batteries and accumulator batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with the sign of a crossed-out Garbage bin.
