Description

Extreme cooling for the CPU by CoolIT

The limits of a normal watercooling system are always set by the room temperature. Cooler is only possible with incredibly expensive equipment? No, now CoolIT has developed a high-performance cooling solution that is affordable for everyone and especially can be used by everyone. Such a compact system with such exceptional cooling performance, how is that possible?

The solution is a small chiller, compressor, in combination with Peltier elements. 250W of heat can be removed from the CPU and without problems. This is supported by a 120mm fan which at the same time serves as a mount for the cooling unit. This maintenance-free, hermetically sealed system can transport so much heat out from the PC that, according to the manufacturer, it is even possible to remove some case fans and hence achieve a more quiet system in whole.

The CPU waterblock is made completely from copper and is nickel coated. The mount consists of black modules which are compatible with AMD sockets AM2 and AM3 as well as Intel sockets 775/1366. The included backplates allow an even stronger and more evenly distributed contact pressure, which puts less strain on the Mainboard and improves the cooling performance.

The power supply and control is designed to be hassle-free and compact. A small black box, the control centre, is connected to all units of the system and itself only requires a 4-Pin Molex connector to draw power. An additional cable is used for control purposes. This cable is a 5-Pin internal USB cable which can simply be connected to a free connector on the Mainboard. The included CD contains the control software and as soon as it is installed you can adjust temperature, cooling performance and much more with a click of your mouse!

Cooling extreme, simple and ingenious, that is the Freezone Elite universal V2!
