The SilentWings 2 fan series offer the best available combination of performance and noise emissions paired with great reliability. Their secret: A unique, aerodynamically optimized fan blade design, special anti-vibration mounts as well as a high.quality fluid dynamic bearing for reduned noise emissions and a long lifespan. Thanks to this advanced technology these fans offer virtually inaudible operation without comprimising performance - the ideal compromise between excellent cooling and quiet operation.

In addition to this impressive combination of performance features, the speed of the SilentWings 2 PWM fans can be controlled via the Mainboard. When connected to a PWM port of a Mainboard or fan controller, the fan speed and hence performance and noise emissions can be adjusted as needed.

Speed control

• With the pulse width modulation (PWM), the fan speed and hence performance as well as noise emissions can be controlled intelligently via a 4.Pin fan controller (as used in many Mainboards). With PWM your computer can increase cooling power as needed or may run as quietly as possible when it is permitted

Engineering

• Long-lived fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) with high-quality lubricant prevents direct contact between rotor and frame, significantly reducing noise emission
• A copper core in the FDB efficiently removes heat from the bearing, hence allowing a very long lifespan of up to 300.000hrs
• Dynamically balanced fan blades improve reliability and contribute to virtually inaudible operation
